Hello, thesis world!

Steven Johnson, in Where Good Ideas Come From, advises the following:

You get a feeling that there’s an interesting avenue to explore, a problem that might someday lead you to a solution, but then you get distracted by more pressing matters and the hunch disappears. So [...] write everything down.

This blog, together with an Evernote account, comprise my efforts to do just that. So, without further ado, let’s get this graduate thesis on the road!
